Live Nation Eliminating Service Charges For All Of June
For the month of June, ticketing giant, Live Nation, is skipping the service charges for all amphitheaters the company owns. That means more affordable tickets for everyone, which is all the more reason to catch your favorite act this month!
In an effort to sell more tickets for the summer season, Live Nation is nixing the service fees for their amphitheater venues around the country. In the Bay area, that includes the Ford Amphitheatre, the Mizner Park Amph, the Bayfront Park Amphitheater, the Pompano Beach Amph, and the Cruzan Amphitheatre
“A fan in every seat is our mission this summer. We know that’s tough in this economy, so it’s our job to find a way to make concerts more affordable,” Live Nation President and Chief Executive Michael Rapino said in the statement.
This promotion comes in response to growing criticism from fans complaining the service charges are far above the face value they paid for certain shows. The outrageous charges are enough to keep fans from buying tickets and missing out on their favorite shows.
So take advantage this June and check out the concerts in the area on Live Nation’s website!
