‘Persons of interest’ identified in Tampa Police shooting

TAMPA – ABC Action News reporter Don Germaise confirmed that Tampa Police has identified two ‘persons of interest’ in the brutal shooting of two officers Tuesday morning.
Police are actively looking for Dontae Morris, born 08/24/1985, and Nicole Brantley, born 02/15/1988.
Tampa Police Chief Jane Castor describes them as “armed and dangerous.”
Asked why they being referred to as ‘persons of interes’t and not ‘suspects’, Chief Castor said investigators want to be certain about the pair’s identities and question them befor labelling them as suspects.
