Songwriters David Lee and Tony Lane talk about the three main messages to the song “Roll With It.” ”The first is sometimes you just have to forget about all your troubles with everyday life and take off to somewhere like the lake or beach. The second message is that even if you don’t have money you should still
do whatever you can to relax. And the third message is that sometimes with your partner you do get in a rut romantically and you kind of growl at each other. So sometimes you take a little getaway and rekindle things and look at it differently. David Lee says, “To me it’s just a message of forget all your troubles, and don’t be afraid to just take off sometimes and go to the lake or whatever you want to do and just go with what happens.” The song was actually written about ten years ago but recently picked up by [lastfm]Easton Corbin[/lastfm]. Maybe it’s time has come because of money being short these days, but the problems continue, and this song can take you to a place you want to go to. Good advice if you ask me.
