[lastfm]The Band Perry[/lastfm] is one of the most exciting new acts to hit country music in the last ten years. The tale of their musical journey is as authentic an American story as you’ll find. Born into a musical family in Mobile, Alabama, Kimberly Perry and younger brothers Reid and Neil have been making music since they were children. In the beginning, Kimberly fronted a band while Neil and Reid acted as her roadies. Eventually it became clear that all three of the siblings were talented musicians with immense promise, and the family band was formed. Click through to watch [lastfm]The Band Perry[/lastfm] perform their hit single “Hip To My Heart” live at the Street Date studios, followed by newer songs “If I Die Young” and “Postcards From Paris.” Just try not to fall in love with this trio (it’s impossible)!

Kim, Reid and Neil walked into the room with huge smiles, greeting Street Date’s producers warmly and instantly winning over the room. Their performance was equally charming, with their self-written tunes made up of upbeat tempos and relatable lyrics.
