In honor of Country Music Month, we asked a panel of country music experts from across the country, “what is the best country song you’ve ever heard?” This installment is from Bill Adams. Bill is the night time personality WIRK in South Florida. Here now, is the best country song Bill Adams has ever heard.

The best country song I’ve ever heard is ‘Brokenheartsville’ by [lastfm]Joe Nichols[/lastfm]. The first time I heard it I was driving on I-95 in West Palm Beach in the pouring rain.

It’s the perfect country song because it has all the great elements that make a compelling story – love, heartbreak, redemption, and even a description of the car the devil would drive – a red Coupe de Ville! Every time I hear it I think of the fire engine red Coupe that passed by me just as Joe was singing that line.

You can keep up with Bill here.
