Fans of Jason Aldean have a treat waiting for them in 2011 – the rising country star has announced an epic thirty two date tour of America.
In anticipation of the mammoth trek across America we asked the Last.fm Trends team to look at what fans of Jason Aldean have been listening to and what we can expect to hear on the tour.
Since releasing his debut album in 2005, Jason Aldean has released four studio albums and has amassed 1,787,077 scrobbles so far. Below is his top ten tracks, as played by Last.fm users:
With 223,311 scrobbles, his 2009 hit “Big Green Tractor” stands as his number one most scrobbled track. The song was written by fellow country musicians Jim Collins and David Lee Murphy and became his third number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
Despite being released two years prior on his debut, the Country Music Awards nominated “Amarillo Sky” trails “Big Green Tractor” with 214,677 scrobbles whilst “Why” keeps up the popularity of tracks on his debut album by coming in third with 179,750 scrobbles.
A total of five tracks from Jason Aldean’s debut album make up his top ten. “Asphalt Cowboy,” “Even If I Wanted To,” “You’re The Love I Wanna Be In” and the aforementioned “Amarillo Sky” and “Why” complete the parade of Jason’s early material, meaning the tour may prove to be a fairly nostalgic experience for gig-goers, if he plays the songs they want to hear.
