It’s time for Billboard magazine’s annual “Year in Music” issue, and Easton Corbin will be celebrating being named 2010’s Top New Country Artist.

The rising star has two country number ones under his belt already, in addition to a nomination for CMA New Artist of the Year, so today Last.fm Trends looks at how he’s doing via his fans’ scrobbles.

With a reasonable start of 229,085 plays from 49,884 listeners overall, he should build on this into 2011. First single “A Little More Country Than That” is still bringing him the biggest audience, with 23,344 listeners in the past six months.

With a growing fanbase, it looks like Corbin could be gaining a few more accolades over the coming year.
