Academy Of Country Music Awards Hosts Announced
[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Reba McEntire[/lastfm] will be back again this year for the Academy of Country Music Awards, but this year’s event will be slightly different. Rather then having solo hosting duties, Reba will be joined with country star and friend, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Blake Shelton[/lastfm]!
This years show will be held in Las Vegas and broadcast live, so no worries if you can’t make it out to Sin City for the event. For those in attendance and watching from home will get the special treat of having two hosts this year, rather than one. Reba will be back again, having hosted previously for the past 12 years but this time she’ll be bringing along a friend. After announcing the nominees together back in April of last year, Reba and Blake Shelton will be co-hosting the annual award show together.
“Last year Reba and Blake read our nominations and they were just magic together, incredibly funny,” said Bob Romeo, CEO of the Academy. “When Reba suggested inviting Blake to join her, the Academy could not have been more pleased – we know the viewers will be blown away by their comic chemistry.”
The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be held LIVE at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3 at 8 pm. Will you be tuning in to watch these two host the event?
