CMT reports that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lionel Richie[/lastfm] is recording a hits album of duets with a host of country artists.

Collaborations in the can so far include “Stuck on You” (with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Darius Rucker[/lastfm]), “Sail On” ([lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Tim McGraw[/lastfm]), “Lady” ([lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kenny Rogers[/lastfm]), “Easy” ([lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Willie Nelson[/lastfm]), “Deep River Woman” ([lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Little Big Town[/lastfm]), “You Are” ([lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Blake Shelton[/lastfm]) and “All Night Long” ([lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band[/lastfm]). Famed Nashville producer Tony Brown, who is at the helm of the project, says they have yet to go in the studio with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jennifer Nettles[/lastfm] of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Sugarland[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Zac Brown Band[/lastfm]. The album will most likely be out this summer.
