Blake Relies On Fan Support
2011 is looking like to be a huge year for Grammy Nominee [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Blake Shelton[/lastfm]. 2010 wasn’t too shabby with Blake getting engaged to Grammy Nominee [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Miranda Lambert[/lastfm], but the headlining tour for Blake is going to make his year big. Co-hosting the ACMs won’t be to bad either.
Blake kicks off his All About Tonight tour January 28 in LaCrosse, WI., with roating opening acts[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] Easton Corbin[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Steel Magnolia[/lastfm], the Grammy Nominated [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Band Perry[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Chris Young[/lastfm]. While Blake is excited for the tour, he is most excited to get out there to perform for his fans:
“I’m excited to get back out there and perform for my fans,” says Blake. “They made last year the best year of my life and I hope to make each night of this tour one of the most memorable nights of their lives.”
“It used to be all about just getting up there and hurrying through all your album cuts to perform the one hit they’ve heard,” the singer tells The Boot. “These days, we have a show full of hits, which is awesome. It’s interesting, because when that moment comes when you walk up on the stage, there’s an awesome loud applause and people, including myself, are pumped.
Blake uses his shows to prepare himself for the ACMs:
“I’m hoping this tour will prepare me for co-hosting the ACM awards with the queen of country music, Reba. There’s no better practice as my fans are always great at keeping me on my toes.”
