chrisyoung One Less Thing For Chris Young To Accomplish, Being Nominated For A GRAMMY

Currently nominated for the  Best Male Country Vocal, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Chris Young[/lastfm] is checking this accomplishment off his bucket list!

[pullquote quote="It's been so amazing, and it really did start with that song. To be nominated for that really is extra special."] Add that to the fact that he’s has a No. 1 single with ‘Voices,’ a Grammy nomination and a tour slot with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rascal Flatts[/lastfm], 2011 is shaping up to be a good year for him!

“I went as a kid, I actually got to go to the Grammys, and it was such a cool thing for me,” Chris tells The Boot. “It was always in the back of my mind in my checklist of things I had wanted to do before I died, to be nominated and go to the Grammys. Being there this weekend and being a part of the whole thing is a little extra special because I’ve been there before and I’ve seen everybody else do it, from a fan perspective, and I’ll still be a fan. I’ll still be in there freaking out about who all is there, and then I get to be a part of it this time, so it’s gonna be a little different for me.”

During a recent visit to CMT, he talked about 10 of his favorite Grammy-winning country classics.
