Thanks to country singer, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Garth Brooks[/lastfm], Tennessee’s flood recovery efforts are up $5 million dollars. The community continues to rebuild following last May’s deadly flood. But how did he manage to raise all this money?
Garth Brooks played nine sold-out shows at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena last December to raise funds for various charities in and around Nashville. The money raised through Garth’s goodwill went to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. More money is expected in come into the charity because of these efforts. “I am really honored to have been a part of this happening.” says Brooks.
