[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Eric Church[/lastfm] was kind enough to talk to Discover last week, on a rare day off. He was having a casual day at home, along with the family dog, their 10 lb. Miniature Pinscher walking about. As Eric continues to work on his third album, in anticipation of releasing it as the summer kicks in, country radio fans are getting a taste of the first single “Homeboy.” Eric is also up for an ACM Award for Top New Solo Vocalist, and he talks about that in Part 3 of this interview.

Where did you grow up and where do you call home these days?

How & when did you first get introduced to music as a child?

“Homeboy” is the first taste from the forthcoming album, tell us a little about it.

Listen to “Homeboy

Any date set when the album will be released?

Where do you stand with completing the album? Is it almost done?

Here’s the rest of the interview with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Eric Church[/lastfm]:
