Lee Ann Womack is the latest artist who will be hoping to add to her glowing awards list at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards.

Going up against some of the biggest female stars in country music in the category for Top Female Vocalist, Trends looks at her scrobbles ahead of the big night on April 3rd.

A total scrobble count of 1,034,123 puts Lee Ann Womack as one of most scrobbled artists for the tag female country, which includes artists such as Sara Evans (1,348,543 scrobbles) and Gretchen Wilson (996,705 scrobbles).

The texas singer is no stranger to winning at the ACM Awards, having won five awards stretching back to her first in 1998 where she was crowned Top New Female Vocalist. However you have to look back to 2003 for her last ACM Award win where she won Top Vocal Event Of The Year for “Mendocino County Line”.

Lee Ann will be hoping to get back to winning ways this year. She certainly has some tough competition from her fellow nominees, in particular Taylor Swift who is by far and away the most popular nominee on with 33,186,319 scrobbles.
