Trace Adkins Apologizes For "Brown Chicken, Brown Cow"
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Trace Adkins[/lastfm], he’s made a couple of novelty songs in his day. He likes to have fun, but apparently his single “Brown Chicken, Brown Cow” didn’t make him any friends. The song was released about 3 months ago, and didn’t find many fans at radio stations across the country, and so didn’t really climb the charts. Trace says he’s sorry, very, very sorry about his curious farm animal song!
[photogallerylink id=10008]Back on March 4th, Trace Adkins took the stage at the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville and his main purpose that night was to promote The Lincoln Lawyer, the upcoming movie he’s in with Matthew McConaughey where Trace plays the leader of a biker gang. (Curious to see him play that role!) Instead of pushing the movie the entire time he had the stage, he primarily used this opportunity to apologize. According to CMT.com, he apologized profusely to the radio community present for releasing the supposedly funny song about ‘voyeuristic farm animals’. LOL!
And as any diplomatic person would do, he passed the blame on to someone else! He’s such a character he said to the crowd, “They told me it was a hit,” “I’m going to blame the three songwriters.” If you haven’t heard the song, click here to take a listen!
