Everyone knows [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]LeAnn Rimes[/lastfm] has taken hard hit from the tabloid for her romance with now fiancé Eddie Cibrian. But, now she’s saying she really hasn’t been treated fair.
LeAnn recently opened up to GAC’s, “Backstory” which will premiere this Sunday, April 24th with interviews from her mother to her label to her childhood buddy. LeAnn says she and many know that men in the music business have had affair and not had to endear as much as she has. But, because she is a woman…she gets hit harder. She claims it’s just not fair because it’s a double standard. She says, “If a woman did it, you were never accepted or forgiven, but if it was a guy, they could write a song about it, it’d be huge, and they’d move on. It’s quite interesting to navigate those waters as a woman in this business.” The funny thing in the interview that was revealed was that LeAnn didn’t even want to go on the movie shoot to Canada which led to her meeting her love, which obviously changed her life. Funny how things turn out in life. But, if you want to know more, tune into Sunday’s show on GAC!
