Crow grew up close to the Tennessee border and has always loved listening to [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Loretta Lynn[/lastfm] and the[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Carter family[/lastfm]. She says this time around for her upcoming album, she wants to reflect her passion for that music and her country roots. She wants this album to be more old-fashioned country than the new country that is out now. At the moment, she working on the album and even disclosed she’s been working with Brad Paisley and hopes the album to be out early next year. Even though, she says she wants to make her music more country she still say that her past hits have been influenced by country and you can even hear it in songs such as “If It Makes You Happy” and “Hard To Make A Stand”.
