Tennessee country music star Chris Young will release his third album, Neon, in two months time.

Hype has already begun with the success of lead single “Tomorrow”. Trends looks at this and Chris Young’s past activity on to see what the new album could have in store.

Produced by James Stroud, Neon will be looking to add a substantial amount of scrobbles to Young’s current count of 628,194.

Lead single “Tomorrow”, released on February 28th, has already been making waves on Chris Young’s charts, with it being his tenth most listened to track last week with 286 listeners. The track also clocked up 300,000 digital downloads in the first week of its release.

Young’s second album, The Man I Want To Be, is only marginally more popular than his self-titled debut – surprising considering the three year gap between them. The former was released in 2009 and has taken in 275,537 scrobbles, whilst the latter has 245,123 scrobbles.

Chris Young will surely look to grow with Neon – something we’ll be keeping a close eye on.
