[lastfm]Easton Corbin[/lastfm] is a man of few words, and he gets straight to the point. When we sat down with him at the CMA Music Festival, he told us his love for the CMA Fest comes naturally since his mom used to come to Fan Fair back in the day.  Easton’s a busy man and always on the go, but there’s one show he wanted to be sure to check out while he is in town: his own. And are you waiting for some new songs from Easton? Well, we might just have some good news for you!

When was your first CMA Music Festival or Fan Fair?

My first CMA Festival was as a performer, but I remember my mom used to go back when it was Fan Fair.

Who are you most excited to see play at the CMA Music Festival?

Me. (laughs) No, actually, we’ll be leaving after the performance, so I’m not really going to get a chance to see anybody. We gotta go to work Friday night, so we’ll be leaving soon.

What’s next for you?

We’ve been in the studio working on new material, and we’ve got some new stuff coming out. I’m really excited about it. Plus, we’ll be out with Flatts this summer, doing their tour. It’s great.
