Last.fm Discover continues it’s praise of up-and-coming and new country acts this week in Summer Sessions with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Edens Edge[/lastfm].

The trio of Hannah Blaylock, Dean Berner and Cherril Green, all originally from Arkansas, now call Nashville home. Out now is a 5-song self-titled EP which you can grab from iTunes or Amazon.

Four of those songs they played live in our studio, so click through and get the vibe of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Edens Edge[/lastfm].

“Amen”

“Feels So Real”

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Edens Edge [/lastfm]have been together for seven years, but got their real jumpstart in 2006 when a song they performed, written by Steve Smith won an NSI competition which included as one of the judges, well-known country song writer Kye Fleming. From then on, she took [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Edens Edge [/lastfm]under her wing and helped develop them along.[pullquote quote="I learned how to sing harmony by listening to country radio." credit="Hannah Blaylock"] All five songs from the new EP will be a part of the forthcoming album, which is still being worked on. That album is being produced by Mark Bright and you can expect the acoustic-based guitar approach and wonderful crisp vocals to be in the forefront.

“Swingin’ Door”

“Christ Alone”
