Fans of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” will have a chance to live out their dreams when tryouts for the show come to Tampa July 27.
The auditions will be in 2 sessions morning and afternoon, the sessions will take place at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay (2900 Bayport Drive, Tampa, FL 33607). The first session will start at 7:00am and will run through 11:00am. The second session will begin at 4:30pm and will end promptly at 5:30pm. No pre-registration is required and people may line up for an audition at any time during those sessions. No one will be admitted in line prior to 6:00am. Auditions will consist of a timed multiple choice test and for those people who pass, an interview with one of the show’s producers. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the 50 United States or District of Columbia.
The show, on Sept. 12 will be moving to 7:30 p.m. on WTSP — a prime “access” timeslot.
Tampa, FL was one of six cities selected for auditions.
