[photogallerylink id=54693 align=right] If you’ve ever been to more than one[lastfm link_type=""] Taylor Swift[/lastfm] concert you know that she has a habit, actually a fun thing that she does, of covering hometown music heroes in each city of her Speak Now Tour.
So since she played in Chicago this past Tuesday would she cover her arch nemesis? [lastfm link_type=""]Kanye West[/lastfm]? Well he is from Chicago. Taylor already forgave West for his, shall we say, dumb move. You remember, when he grabbed the mic from her at the VMA’s two years ago and said that [lastfm link_type=""]Beyonce[/lastfm] should have, blah, blah, blah, well she knocked it out of the park by singing a song called “Innocent” one year later and hasn’t looked back. End of story. Or is it? Think about this….if she were to cover West in Chicago on her current tour, this would send a truly powerful message of reconciliation. So. Did she do it? H— no. But she did cover a band from a Chi-town suburb instead, [lastfm link_type=""]Fall Out Boy[/lastfm]. Then she went straight into “Sugar, We’re Going Down,” Swift told the crowd that the song was her favorite during her freshman year of high school. Peace-out.
