[photogallerylink id=30111 align=right]As you’ve probably heard before the group [lastfm link_type=""]Sugarland[/lastfm] is lucky to be alive today after a tragic stage collapse just before they were set to perform at The Indiana State Fair last weekend. Now word comes to us, well me really, that several A-list acts like [lastfm link_type=""]Maroon 5[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=""]Janet Jackson[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=""]Lady Antebellum [/lastfm] have all pulled out following the accident.
Strong winds toppled the stage onto the crowd — leaving five fans dead moments before the country duo was preparing to take the stage. Janet Jackson, who hails from Indiana, released a statement on her official website reading, “Due to the recent tragedy at the Indiana State Fair, officials have cancelled all of the concerts that were scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 17th, including JANET.” She promised that all ticket holders would be granted full refunds. Lady Antebellum pretty much said the same thing on their website saying: “As a result of the terrible tragedy that occurred at the Indiana State Fair on August 13th, several bands have made the difficult decision to cancel their shows. Lady A’s appearance, which was scheduled for August 19th will no longer be taking place.” Then there’s Maroon 5, who is on tour with Train, they’ve opted to change venues rather than scrap the show entirely. “[lastfm link_type=""]The Train[/lastfm] and Maroon 5 concert on Thursday, August 18 has been relocated to Conseco Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis, so says ” a posting on their website. “All previously purchased Train and Maroon 5 tickets for the show at the Indiana State Fair will be honored at Conseco Fieldhouse on the night of the show.”
