The Reba/George concerts bagged a gross income of more than $17 million for 17 shows and had more than 232,000 in attendance. Now with a new album set to hit stores (see earlier posting) King George is planning to hit the road again.
Strait announced that he’ll begin touring in January 2012 but didn’t divulge specific cities or dates. He did reveal, that [lastfm link_type=""]Martina McBride[/lastfm] had agreed to open for him. Straits press release said: ”I love Martina.” “She’s been on our tours before and she’s great. I’m really looking forward to the tour. Martina will definitely make it a special night.” Only 4 more days until George Strait’s 39th album, ‘Here For a Good Time,’ is in stores. McBride also has a new album due out October 11.
