made by the [lastfm link_type=""]Country Music Association[/lastfm] yesterday. Don’t know if you remember or not, but all of the nominee-performers also performed at last year’s CMA Awards, and three are past winners. Paisley, who’s also co-hosting the awards on Nov. 9 with [lastfm link_type=""]Carrie Underwood[/lastfm], picked up Entertainer of the Year for the first time in 2010 after being nominated for it every year since 2005. Swift won in 2009. And Urban received the award back in 2005. Little history for you there. Shelton, who was named male vocalist of the year at 2010′s ceremony, is vying for the prize for the first time. Aldean, Paisley, Shelton and Swift are the top overall recognized artists, with five nominations a piece.
