Country And Cold Cans
[photogallerylink id=69675 align=right] Country & Cold Cans is actually the name of [lastfm link_type=””]Dierks Bentley[/lastfm]’s tour which begins in a couple of days, Thursday to be exact, and our friend [lastfm link_type=””]Jerrod Niemann[/lastfm] is on it. Jerrod, seems to have been rolling along seamlessly all summer long, what with [lastfm link_type=””]Brad Paisly[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=””]Lee Brice[/lastfm] and now headed out again with Bentley.
But as much as Jerrod loves touring and playing for the fans, he admits that it can be a challenge to stay healthy when you’re on the road that much. ”I have no problem challenging myself physically. It does get tough on the road. And the only reason artists really get worn out is ’cause they just really want to work hard because they’re excited about people comin’ out to their shows, and you know, you’re not used to that until you get a song on the radio. So, for me, I wasn’t sick for two years, and I think I was on antibiotics six times last year. And I don’t know…this year has been better; we’ve had our bus. Last year was just airports and bein’ around probably so many sick people. But I love it, and it’s a lot of fun. And I’m sure I’ll probably have some natural injuries and then some self-inflicted disasters that’ll happen, too. But for the most part, the sniffles, I could care less.”
