I think he knows a thing or two about making music, and he’s no stranger to making music video’s either. With that in mind [lastfm link_type=""]Ronnie Dunn[/lastfm] decided to step outside the box and take a different approach to the video process with the music on his solo debut album including his newest single, Cost of Livin’.
Ronnie says that he wanted to find a way to make more videos with lower cost, more flexibility, and have some fun along the way — and here’s how he pulled it off. ”I hired a bunch of guys out of Middle Tennessee State University here, just young guys with these video cameras and put these guys on salary for a year, at first. Now, it’s been over a year; they’re still with me. To shoot videos and just make ‘em up on the fly. We talk about concepts and stuff like that, but I’m thinking that by doing videos this way, we’re not tryin’ to break any records and make, you know, a Gone with the Wind or whatever. It’s just, we’re tryin’ to get, like, you know, decent videos out for, like, comparatively next to no budget at all. And the idea is to offer people a snippet or a look into the song that they normally might not get — and havin’ fun at the same time.”
