On The Cover Of Rolling Stone
[photogallerylink id=74342 align=right] You don’t tug on Superman’s cape, you don’t pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger and you don’t mess around with [lastfm link_type=""]Miranda Lambert[/lastfm]. She’s one of those super tough country girls — the kind who would seek revenge if you ever wronged her.
Thankfully, Miranda’s not out for blood, at least I don’t think so, but in the October 27 issue of Rolling Stone, Miranda rolled out her top revenge songs. When asked to compile a Top 10 list of the best revenge songs, the singer named her own [lastfm link_type=""]Pistol Annies[/lastfm] trio as the No. 10 revenge track with ‘Trailer for Rent.’ “I had to put my girls on the list,” Lambert commented. “It’s about a woman who’s just tired of dealing with her man. She’s not mad. She doesn’t freak out. She just walks.” Lambert also likes [lastfm link_type=""]Tammy Wynette[/lastfm]‘s 1967 hit ‘Your Good Girl’s Gonna Go Bad,’ as well as sometimes country hitmaker [lastfm link_type=""]Kelly Clarkson[/lastfm]‘s smash, ‘Since U Been Gone’ and the classic kill your husband tune ‘Goodbye Earl’ by the [lastfm link_type=""]Dixie Chicks[/lastfm].
