Country Music Is . . . Family!
Rascal Flatts Fest Comes To Detroit To me, country music is FAMILY! Not only is country music something the entire family can listen to, good’ol American family values are a way of life in the country music world. To me, the most important thing in life is family, especially my daughter. And I see the same family values instilled in every country music star I’ve met. So many country music artists take their family on the road with them when they’re on tour.
I’m grateful that my daughter’s grown up in the world of country music. She attends most of the concerts with me and has been lucky enough to spend alot of time with our morning show and WYCD in Nashville. I love to look back at the pictures of her with various country music artists and see how she has blossomed from a little girl into a young lady that I am so proud of!
My favorite country music song is [mp3com-artist]Rascal Flatts[/mp3com-artist]’ “My Wish.” I can’t listen to “My Wish” without getting tears in my eyes. The song is about raising your child/children and instilling good values in them. Then they grow up and leave home and you can only hope they make the right life decisions based on how you raised them. You hope life “treats them well!” It will be playing at my daughter’s graduation party in June, 2012, and there won’t be a dry eye in the house!
