46th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards - Concerts On Fremont - Day 2

[lastfm link_type=""]Ronnie Dunn[/lastfm] has amassed his share of  honors over the years, let me see, at last count 19 as part of [lastfm link_type=""]Brooks and Dunn[/lastfm] and one more as co-writer with Craig Wiseman with the song Believe.  And while he’s written and sung a great many song, he says that it’s really unusual to see people respond to a song the way that they have to his current single, “Cost of Livin’.”

The way that “Cost of Livin'” has connected with listeners in its reflection of people’s real-life struggles in today’s economy has attracted attention from the media, as well as fans, and Ronnie recently appeared on Fox & Friends and other programs to talk about the song. ”Cost of Livin'” is the second single from Ronnie’s debut solo album, called Ronnie Dunn.  ”Everywhere I go, guys will come up to me, no matter if I’m in a restaurant somewhere, somewhere at the grocery store, and they walk up and go, ‘Hey, man, love that song. Love that song.’ Every now and then, it’s rare that those songs, they come along like that where people will just go out of their way to come up to you and just look you straight in the eye and go, ‘Man, I love that song. Got nothin’ to do with you. I like the song.'” (laughs)
