Country singer/songwriter [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Phil Vassar[/lastfm] treats country fans with a new holiday LP sure to spread heart-warming joy and holiday spirit that only a great country holiday LP can deliver. 

After ten years of writing hit songs for iconic country artists like [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Tim Mcgraw[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jo Dee Messina[/lastfm] & [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Alan Jackson[/lastfm], Vassar launched his own solo career as a singer in 1999. He was instantly brought to the mainstream following the release of his massively successful self-titled debut, led by the hit single Carlene.

Now, over a decade later, Vassar’s love for Christmas comes full circle as he brings fans Noel, a brand new holiday album featuring 10 magical Christmas tracks. The album features great renditions of christmas standards like Oh Come All Ye Faithful and is not without the help of a few stars like [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kellys Collins[/lastfm], who lends a hand on Away in a Manger, and even [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Ray Benson[/lastfm] on the original number, Big Ol’ Texas Christmas.

The album is not chock full of the usual Christmas standards like most holiday records, instead putting the focus on songs that Vassar himself has grown to love over the years combined with some masterfully crafted new Christmas songs, written only as Vassar could pen them.
