[photogallerylink id=59894 align=right] In just a few weeks [lastfm link_type=""]Eric Church[/lastfm] will kick off his Blood, Sweat and Beers tour and the singer admits he is surprised at how quickly tickets have sold for the fifty or something dates he has planed. Eric says: ”I was blown away, we’re going to sell most of these rooms out. We didn’t think that was gonna happen. We just hoped we’d make a good showing.”
Eric goes on to say that he plans on making sure fans get more than their money’s worth when he hits the stage each night. “You can only blow up so much stuff,” he acknowledges. “You’ve got to get to a point where the music carries it. We still try to keep it that way, but make it interesting and maybe make it something that country music fans haven’t seen before.” Regarding the order of the songs on his album Church says: ”I don’t know if other people think about it, but I’m obsessed with the order of the songs.” “I think about the space between songs, because sometimes, it’s a big rockin’ song and the next one’s a ballad, and you don’t want to go right to it. You want to breathe a minute, then go to it. So I look at the spacing between them. You can get real anal and look, you’ll see there are different spaces between the songs on the album. A lot of albums these days are uniform, ours aren’t. We actually make them longer or shorter, depending on the songs.” His tour will kick off on Jan. 19 in Fort Smith, Ark., with [lastfm link_type=""]Brantley Gilbert [/lastfm]serving as opening act.
