After heavy rains and safety concerns forced the postponement of [lastfm link_type=""]Jake Owen[/lastfm]‘s annual charity concert this past December at Holman Stadium in his hometown of Vero Beach, Florida, it was confirmed that the show has been rescheduled for April 7th at the Citrus Bowl/Billy Livings Field at Vero Beach High School.
Jake said, “I am so excited to announce the new Concert date. I apologize to everyone that was inconvenienced by the rescheduling of the Concert. I want to thank you all for your patience during this process. We have worked as quickly as we could to make this announcement, but we needed to make sure that we kept the Concert in Vero Beach, at a venue that was available and would accommodate the sold-out crowd.” The show is a highlight of the annual Mardy’s Tennis & Jake’s Music Fest, staged by Jake and his good friend, fellow Vero Beach native and professional tennis player Mardy Fish. The event benefits children’s programs supported by the Mardy Fish Foundation and the Jake Owen Foundation.
