Yesterday I made a comment about [lastfm link_type=""]Chris Brown[/lastfm] being at this year’s Grammys and how he made some smart a– remark, check my facebook page and you’ll see what I mean. Well this year was the first time the afore mentioned hip-hop artist appeared on the televised special since he beat up [lastfm link_type=""]Rihanna[/lastfm], his g/f at the time. Well one artist, she’s my superstar, [lastfm link_type=""]Miranda Lambert[/lastfm] is not hiding her opinion on the matter.
Miranda would never sit by and let a fellow girl get beaten down. On her Twitter page the other day she said she was just getting a chance to watch some of the televised performances, since she was at the show when it was televised live. Speaking of the show, she first tweeted: “Just got to watch some of the Grammy’s. Love how much country music was represented. Makes me proud!” Then, just a short time later, (sounds like something from Dudley Doo-Right) her reaction went sour. She said: ”How dang long did they give [lastfm link_type=""]Nicki Minaj[/lastfm] to do whatever that was? Strange. And Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl …” adding seconds after, “Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys.” For the most part, fans seemed to be retweeting and giving their full agreement on the matter, encouraging Lambert to ‘preach it’ and even suggesting that Brown should be in jail right now for his actions. To that I say AMEN. Despite the support, Lambert softened up a bit, telling her fans, “As for my tweets ‘it’s just one clowns opinion.’ I love music and that’s what it’s all about. This is still America and we all have the right to speak.
