Country music singer/songwriter Darryl Worley may have been off of your radar, but he is creeping up in the music scene again with his new single “You’ve Still Got It!”
“You Still Got It” was co-written by Worley and hit songwriter Brett Jones, for his upcoming summer release, One Time Around. This will be Darryl Worley‘s first album on his new label, Tenacity Records/Crazytown Records. By capturing those moments of love, in this romantic and moving video, we’re pretty sure this puts Darryl Worley on every woman’s dream date list! Sorry ladies, he is happily married!
In an exclusive interview with CBS Local and RamCountryMusic.com last week at the ACM Awards in Las Vegas, Worley talks about new music, his brand new single called “You Still Got It,” to which he quickly interjects “my wife’s still got it that’s why I wrote it,” and a new album coming out in May or June. He also slips about “working on some reality pilots for TV.”
All Darryl could reveal about the TV pilot (which was quite a bit) was to “go to GAC.com watch my “Day Jobs” episode – I used to be a commercial fisherman, and I took them on a commercial fishing trip, and you’ll see a little of what it’s going to be about, it’s called River People.”
Watch the completely engaging interview below and find out about his side job – foot modeling!
In addition to a new label, and an upcoming album, Darryl Worley is a great philanthropist. As you could tell in the video above, he is a great outdoorsman and now the ambassador for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. “The outdoors has always been a big part of my life. I grew up in Tennessee and have always looked forward to my time in the woods and on the water. Whenever I get a little down time, I love to get away from it all and relax. I’m honored to be able to lend a hand to those who take care of our fish and wildlife.” (Source: darrylworley.com) His objective is to raise money for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation in order to help recover the many losses from disasters such as flooding, tornados, drought and more. We’re not sure how he finds the time to do all of this, but thankful that he can! The Darryl Worley Foundation Inc. also supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In addition, the Darryl Worley Foundation, Inc. helps fund and support the newly created Darryl Worley Cancer Treatment Center.
