Two Sunday’s ago, it felt like Nashville had moved to Vegas for all the excitement of the ACM Awards and Miss Sara Evans says that getting to see everyone, including all the other stars is a big part of what’s so great about the event.  But if you think it was one big party, you may just want to think again.  

Sara says there’s a lot of work do be done for the artists around the Awards, and it’s not the giant party scene you may think it is.  Sara said:  “It is…for others!  I mean, you know, we go out there, and everybody thinks that we just go out there, and we’re gambling and partying and having fun, but we’re working. So, I basically just kind of get there, go from the airport to my hotel room and usually, immediately go into hair and make-up for something that’s happening and work, work, work. But, it is very fun, and the weather is always beautiful, and it’s just, you know, great to get dressed up for the awards and see all your friends ‘cause you haven’t…we haven’t seen each other really since the CMAs every year. So, it’s nice to kind of have that get-together. It’s like a big family.”
