Tyler Farr is relatively new to country music, but he gained some of his early exposure to the music thanks to his stepdad playing guitar for George Jones. Tyler is on his way to building his own path, or carving out his own niche in country music and the big city, but he’s actually from a little place called Garden City. Hot Mess is the first single from his upcoming debut album and you can keep up with him at www.tylerfarr.com. Tyler had this to say about the place he calls home: “I’m from a small town in Missouri called Garden City — grew up there pretty much my whole life ’til I graduated high school. It’s got about a, you know, a thousand people in it. When you graduate, you either go and work for the union or lay concrete or the lucky ones, they’re few, go to college. There’s not a…it’s a small farmin’ community, so, that’s what I grew up around.”
