Make no bones about it Kellie Pickler loves, loves, loves, traditional country music.  Kellie says it’s what inspired the music on her new album, 100 Proof.  Kellie recently returned to the stage of American Idol to perform the very first song on that album.

 Kellie said the song honors one of country’s great voices, Tammy Wynette.  Kellie told Sony Music Nashville about Where’s Tammy Wynette: “I love that ‘Where’s Tammy Wynette’ kicks off the album ’cause right away, soon as you hit ‘play,’ and you hear, ‘I stay torn between killin’ him and lovin’ him,’ you know you’re about to listen to a country album.”
