Uncle Kracker Talks About His Show At The Hard Rock Cafe In Tampa, His Music Foundation, & A Controversy Around One Of His Shows
Uncle Kracker will be performing Sunday, May 20. Tickets are $10 at the door and are not available in advance. Proceeds will benefit the Uncle Kracker Music Education Foundation. Doors open at 7:30p.
Uncle Kracker called us this morning to talk about his 49 city tour that he just got done doing with Ty Stone and Sonja Lee, he said he met Sonja on tour with Kenny Chesney, Kracker says she is just the sweetest woman with an amazing voice.
Kracker says he met Ty Stone after Ty was signed by Kid Rock years ago, Ty and him are best buds and when they are touring together he doesn’t like having to go on stage after Ty because he is just so good.
Cledus told Uncle Kracker that he killed it last year with Kenny Chesney at Raymond James Stadium, this Sunday Uncle Kracker will be playing at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s, Hard Rock Cafe in Tampa, he tells us a little about his Music Education Foundation that is to help keep music going in the school system.
Veronica brought up to him that the Bratwurst Festival that he is playing in Ohio in August, the festival has some controversy about not serving beer at the show, they’re even having counsel meetings to decide whether they will serve beer or not, Kracker jokes around by saying how can you have a bratwurst festival without beer.
Uncle Kracker is best known for his songs, ”Smile” and “Good To Be Me,” and being on tour with Kenny Chesney.
