We all hear sounds in our everyday life, but we don’t get to hear the sounds that are being produced below the surface of the ocean.  We know that animals communicate through sound, but there are also sounds under the water that are not made by animals.  Most sounds are made by volcanic activity and shifting icebergs, but some sounds have baffled scientists.

They have heard sounds, which the have named “The Bloop”, which lasted over a minute and the have heard the sound of voice.  The voice sounds like it is saying the name Julia, but scientists believe that an animal did not make the sound.
