Luke Bryan, Tropical Storm Debby Survivor and Potty Trainer
Fatherhood hasn’t been easy for country superstar Luke Bryan. He joked about the difficulties of being a father to his son on WQYK’s Cledus, Dave, & Veronica show Tuesday morning. Potty training has had it’s challenges, especially timing. “There’s no telling” of when his son Tate is going to go. However Luke says, “He at least pulls his diaper off and you can tell when he’s about to pee on the floor.”
Luke’s furniture has taken a beating too, asking “Why are there Popsicle stains all over our white couches? It looks like I’m running a meat processing company on my rug” or that it looks like he is “hanging deer in the living room.” Luke said that he has a few cleaning companies on speed dial for the big messes.
Luke Bryan makes his way to Tampa with Jason Aldean on their nationwide tour August 10, 2012. Tickets and information can be found on Ticketmaster.com.
Luke described his wild vacation to Florida this week. The tour bus drove through “the heart of the Tropical Storm” just before Debby made landfall. Even though the first few days of his vacation might be a tad rainy, Luke quoted his hit by saying “Rain is a good thing, baby!” He was careful to not give out the exact location of his stay in Florida, saying “All I need is y’all peeping in my windows on vacation!”
His new song, “Drunk On You,” just became is fifth career #1. He recently posted a live music video for the song. He expressed his gratitude by saying, “I’ve been thinking about it and adding it up. Like gosh, I never imagined in a million years I would be in a situation where I would had have five number ones.”
