Josh Thompson is currently on tour with the Country Throwdown and I wondered how it was going.
“It’s great! It’s so full of ‘musicness,’ if you will. I mean, there’s the Bluebird Stage, so…I mean, you can get out there in the afternoon and see the songwriters perform songs that you’ve heard, songs that you haven’t heard yet, but you will. And then there’s a side stage with, like, Sunny Sweeney and Eric Paslay and a couple other folks, and then there’s the main stage, with myself, Rodney Atkins, and Gary Allan— which is awesome. I’ve seen Gary Allan’s show, like, four times in a row now. Love him! He’s got a great show, the crowds are fantastic, so I’m excited to be a part of it.”
