Army Staff Sgt. Matthew S. Sitton was brought home to rest Friday afternoon. The 26-year-old husband and father of one lost his life when he was hit by an improvised explosive device while on patrol in Afghanistan. Sitton grew up in Largo, and fell in love with the Army and serving his country. He was deployed three times overseas, and was due back home in September.
WQYK got footage of the hero’s procession to his final resting place.
