After a summer long dream tour with Tim McGraw & Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen is already hitting the road again. This time, he’s incorporating the help of “Angel Eyes” duo Love and Theft as well as writing buddies Florida Georgia Line.

“CMT On Tour Jake Owen: The Summer Never Ends 2012″ begins October 10 in New York City and follows a small 19-date run ending on December 15 at the Annual Jake Owen Foundation Charity Show. While Owen has been part of a golden year for his career, he’s still humbled at the idea of headlining his own tour.

“Being the headliner of a tour is something I’ve been dreaming about since I was in college, performing songs every Sunday afternoon on a bar stool and playing for tips,” he says. “Headlining the CMT Tour is really cool for me because I was the opening, opening act in 2007, when Sugarland was the headliner and Little Big Town had the middle slot. So now, to be headlining the 11th Annual CMT Tour, with my buddies Love and Theft and Florida Georgia line, it feels very surreal.”

Owen’s new EP Endless Summer hits shelves on September 25, featuring four summer inspired songs including Summer Jam”, a track written by tourmates Florida Georgia Line.
