Big-voiced “Ex-Old Man” singer/songwriter Kristen Kelly clearly found a big believer in Brad Paisley, who has Kristen out on tour with him as one of the acts playing the “Virtual Opry” stage on the Plaza of Brad’s Virtual Reality World Tour. Earlier this summer, Brad joined Kristen to perform with her during her show, and Kristen says that the way that Brad treats his fellow tour acts, especially the up-and-comers, says a lot about Brad — and it means a great deal to artists like Kristen. “Having Brad come out on stage with me during my set is a lesson learned of yeah, you’re never too big, and it’s just a testament to who Brad is, not only as an artist, but as a person. He’s so supportive of all the support acts that are out on the Virtual Reality Tour with him, and I couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity to be out on tour, on my first major tour. He’s just so humble and so giving. He’s eager for everybody to learn and to teach, you know, the support acts — if, I guess, if they’re, you know, willing to learn, which I feel like, as an artist and a, you know, human being, I don’t ever want to stop learning. And I feel like the minute that you think you don’t have anything else to learn is the minute you need to hang up whatever it is that you’re doing because, in my opinion, you’ve always got room to grow and always got room to learn.”
