Jerrod Niemann says the spirit of his new song, “Shinin’ on Me,”  is one that’s true for any season. And Little Big Town‘s Karen Fairchild couldn’t agree more, she recently told PEOPLE Country that her “go-to tune for a lazy Sunday” is Jerrod’s “Shinin’ on Me,” as she says, “It just makes me want to sit on my back porch with a glass of wine in my hand.” Jerrod went on to say: “‘Shinin’ on Me,’ although it sounds like a summer song, what it really is about is the figurative side of the sun shinin’ on you, and that’s when basically the world is not goin’ the way that you think exactly it should go, it’s okay to put everything on hold and hit pause on your problems, and just enjoy the moment with the people that you’re with and the people you enjoy bein’ around.”
