It’s always cool to hear artists talk about one another and get a little insight into relationships and how people see each other, and with Kix Brooks out with his new solo album, New to This Town, longtime friend Kenny Chesney said that he thinks the world of him, on stage and off.  Kenny recalls touring with Brooks and Dunn and told Sony Music Nashville: “When Kix and Ronnie [Dunn] was on the road with us several summers ago, my favorite part of the night is when Kix would come out there during my show with just his guitar, and we would, you know, sing a song together. And that was a fun part of the night for me. I looked forward to that moment every day, and sometimes it’d be the record that he had ‘You Better Kiss Me or You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone,’ or we would sing some other song, but it was always a part of the show — of my show — that I looked forward to and a part of the day that I looked forward to a lot because it was just stripped down, and it was a lot of fun.”
