Dale Earnhardt Jr. has a concussion and will miss the next two races of the NASCAR schedule, which basically takes him of the hunt for this years NASCAR championship. Dale was outspoken after this past weekends race at Talladega, where a final lap crash took out 25 cars including his. He also said that he knew something wasn’t quite right with his mind.
The accident at Talladega was the second big crash for Dale in the past six weeks. Dale blew a tire testing at Kansas on August 29 and the concussion from that wreck went undiagnosed until Wednesday when we was examined for a concussion because of lingering effects from the Talladega crash.
Fellow driver, Regan Smith, will drive the #88 the next two races at Charlotte and Kansas.
