Love and Theft have seen this year or so far what’s past of it blow up into an amazing year for themselves. They toured all summer with Brad Paisley and are now on the road with Jake Owen. Their new single Runnin’ Out of Air, is poised to be all over the radio in the months to come and they say that one of their biggest highlights was the release of their self-titled album. The boys told sony Music Nashville: Eric: “I mean, I think it’s probably the most rewarding feeling that you can feel. I mean, I remember…” Stephen: “It’s awesome.” Eric: “…when we had our final, like, little listening party where we sat back, drank a couple beers, and listened on the big, $20,000 speakers at the studio, it was, I mean, really a feeling of accomplishment because there’s a lot of times where you can set out to do something and it doesn’t turn out how you wanted it to and you kind of just go with it. It evolves into something else, but I think from beginning to end with this project, we started off with a vision, and we didn’t let it get off track. We always kept it very close to what we wanted, and we wanted to make an organic record that featured our harmonies, our voices, and that breathed — that wasn’t over-produced — and I think we definitely did that.
