WQYK artists Blake Shelton, Scotty McCreery, Martina McBride, Hunter Hayes, Trace Adkins, Justin Moore, Brantley Gilbert, and Neal McCoy will all play The Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City this year.

It’s hard to imagine topping last year. The Band Perry and Luke Bryan packed ‘em in. The strawberry shortcake was amazing. This year, Plant City will be jumping again with rides, shows, and I probably mentioned strawberry shortcake already, didn’t I?

This year, the festival again threw in some fun non-country acts too. Get ready to twist with Chubby Checker in an afternoon show February 28. Then that night, one of my all-time favorites… Foreigner (“Urgent,” “Jukebox Hero,” “Cold As Ice,” “I Want To Know What Love Is”) hits the stage at 7:30.

The last time I got to see Blake Shelton live was at Orlando Calling. He was sandwiched in between a bunch of random bands from The Doobie Brothers and Bob Seger. This time, he’ll be able to perform a full set his way.

We just saw American Idol Scotty McCreery a few weeks ago opening for The Band Perry and Brad Paisley. But I’m probably most psyched to see Brantley Gilbert perform Kick It In The Sticks live.
